Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I have been trying to attract pileated woodpeckers to my yard and they suggested a specific feeder. Within a couple weeks a pileated was hanging out on the feeder they recommended!

A delightful shop to indulge a love of birds. Staff are kind, helpful & attentive . Beyond food they offer a selection of gifts, garden features, birdhouses, & beautiful cards. Melanie & Dana (and the rest, I can’t recall everyone’s name), make you want to “visit” often as they become friends. Birdy people are like that 🪺.

Love this store! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I do wish the prices weren't so high sometimes, but I can't argue that the birds around my home love their products. I've got such a larger variety of birds due to the various feeder types and foods that I put out. This store also has cute gifts (mugs, cards, jewelry, etc).

We got there late due to traffic, just as the two clerks were locking the door. But when we expressed our regrets and started to turn away, they unlocked the door and invited us in. We were interested in buying a bird bath and while we tried to hurry up, they kept telling us to take our time. They had over a dozen really nice birdbaths, and after paying, they insisted on carrying it out to our car, since it was quite heavy. Wonderful store!!

For all your birding needs....thanks to WBU, we've got a regular nest of bluebirds, we feed a flock of goldfinches every day, we see woodpeckers, finches, thrashers, towhees, chickadees, carolina wrens, AND we've been visited by a migrating Baltimore oriole, a tanager and grosbeak. Good clean fun for everyone, and a great present for children of friends. Just be sure to get the Squirrel Buster spring-loaded feeders so so don't spend your precious $$$ on feeding the squirrels instead of the birds. Also, we've just used shelled sunflower chips and we get the vast variety of birds we do.
